Singularities of Integrable Systems and Algebraic Curves

چکیده
We study the relationship between singularities of finite-dimensional integrable systems and singularities of the corresponding spectral curves. For the large class of integrable systems on matrix polynomials, which is a general framework for various multidimensional spinning tops, as well as Beauville systems, we prove that if the spectral curve is nodal, then all singularities on the corresponding fiber of the system are non-degenerate. We also show that the type of a non-degenerate singularity can be read off from the behavior of double points on the spectral curve under an appropriately defined antiholomorphic involution. Our analysis is based on linearization of integrable flows on generalized Jacobian varieties, aswell as on the possibility to express the eigenvalues of an integrable vector field linearized at a singular point in terms of residues of certain meromorphic differentials.

An Algebraic Proof of Deligne’s Regularity Criterion for Integrable Connections
Deligne’s regularity criterion for an integrable connection ∇ on a smooth complex algebraic variety X says that ∇ is regular along the irreducible divisors at infinity in some fixed normal compactification of X if and only if the restriction of ∇ to every smooth curve on X is fuchsian (i. e. has only regular singularities at infinity). The “only if” part is the difficult implication. Deligne’s ...
متن کاملIntegrable Hamiltonian Systems Associated to Families of Curves and Their Bi-hamiltonian Structure
In this paper we show how there is associated an integrable Hamiltonian system to a certain set of algebraic-geometric data. Roughly speaking these data consist of a family of algebraic curves, parametrized by an aane algebraic variety B, a subalgebra C of O(B) and a polynomial '(x; y) in two variables. The phase space is constructed geometrically from the family of curves and has a natural pro...
متن کامل2 00 6 A Classification of Integrable Quasiclassical Deformations of Algebraic Curves . ∗
A previously introduced scheme for describing integrable deformations of of algebraic curves is completed. Lenard relations are used to characterize and classify these deformations in terms of hydrodynamic type systems. A general solution of the compatibility conditions for consistent deformations is given and expressions for the solutions of the corresponding Lenard relations are provided.

We describe our recent work on deformations of hyperelliptic curves by means of integrable hierarchy of hydrodynamic type, and discuss a further extension to the cases of non-hyperelliptic curves.
